WHO WE ARE
Connecting and inspiring people to participate in God's
story of love, hope, and purpose.
OUR STORY
In April 2016, my wife Dianne and I, along with an amazing group of people, started
Stone Coast Community Church.
We desire to be authentic and vulnerable and to get back to the basics of Christianity:
love God and love our neighbors. Our passion and purpose is to make a difference in
people’s lives through the love of Jesus Christ. This means we’re a “come as you are”
church that sends people into their workplaces, communities, and neighborhoods
looking for opportunities to serve and meet needs. The church is not just about
Sunday mornings and coming to a building. The church is a group of people who live
out their beliefs and love for God in everyday life.
This is part of why Stone Coast Church doesn’t have a building yet. Rather than
building or buying our own worship space, we gather on Sundays in a local school or,
in the summer, outside of our vintage shoppe, Four Echoes at the Grist Mill Pond.
While we expect to have our own space one day, we’ve chosen to invest first in
community development through Town Square Partners, the outward arm of our church.
Our sustainable nonprofit businesses and community programs help provide
opportunities and funding for work that changes lives.
As for Sunday morning, we value authenticity and keeping it real, so just be you. If you
see value in being part of a community where you’ll be encouraged to help others, grow
in your faith, and live life to the fullest, then you’ll love it here!
