GiveHOPE

Generosity and caring for others is a big part of who we are at Stone Coast. 

GiveHOPE is an end-of-year giving initiative for you to provide hope to others and make a difference in their lives through your generosity.

OUR GOAL:  Raise $30,000 by the end of 2024! 

This is above and beyond our regular tithes and offerings.

GiveHOPE 2024 includes three different ways to bless others:

       1.  Benevolence - This is about blessing people from Stone Coast and caring for our church family!  We know this time of year can be difficult for

some. These monies will be used to buy gift cards for Christmas, or meet practical needs like utility bills, gas, and other felt needs.

GOAL: $5,000

       2.  Support Emerge -  Giving to Emerge will impact young people's lives ages 14-17 through this mentoring initiative.  In giving to this ministry of Stone Coast, you are helping youth in foster care to realize the love and support of their mentor.  Just this year we have seen a 14-year-old girl go from not wanting to be seen, shying away from conversations, to serving at the recent Fall Gala, engaging in conversation with peers and adults - and smiling!!!  (This is more important than you might realize).  One of our young men is going to high school, working three jobs, and serving at church. He is engaged in our youth ministry and is thriving.  Having a mentor who believes in you makes a big difference!!!!  Watch this video to catch a glimpse.

GOAL: $20,00

      3. India Ministry (Sharon Gospel Ministries) -  This ministry serves people in the southern part of India in 4 states: Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. 

           1. Ministry for children in the slums - $ 800 for children forced to live in the slums of India – this giving will provide 4 Christmas celebration programs in four different slums of Hyderabad at $200 each. This is an amazing opportunity to share the gospel to largely unreached areas, and distribute food.

           2. Ministry for people with leprosy - $800 for 50 sets of basic care needs such as food and hygiene provisions. 

           3. Evangelism - $1400 for entire setup to facilitate up to six street gospel meetings in multiple villages to share the love of Jesus with many people. 

           4. Widows - $500 provides 50 to 70 sarees or blankets to widowed women who often cannot easily access clothing and bedding on their own in India.

           5. A Christmas Gathering for Pastors - $1,000  Over 300 pastors and their families come from 2 states of India. Arrangements like food and local travel allowance are offered to assist them. This helps to revive the pastors annually which is so important! We encourage them, equip them, and empower them. Then, they go back and share the Good News in more than 300+ villages!

           6. Tribal Ministry - $ 500  People from different native tribes are blessed with basic needs like water filters and other useful items. Unreached tribes are people who live in the interior parts of regional forest areas. Teams visit the tribes with basic necessities like mosquito nets, water filters, solar lamps, and blankets as they share the love and gospel of Jesus Christ!

As a church, Stone Coast will be able to impact people's lives in our LOCAL COMMUNITY and AROUND THE WORLD because of your love and desire to make a difference. God is good and we are excited to see what He does when we partner with Him to love and serve others!
